Adoption Centers
SAFE has adoption centers in St. Augustine Beach, Treasure Beach, Hollister, and Palatka.
Transport to the Northeast
Although pet overpopulation is a problem in the South, the Northeastern U.S. actually has a shortage of pets available for adoption! SAFE has rescue partners in the Northeast and we regularly transport pets who go to those rescues or directly into forever homes. The volunteers who transport the pets make a long and tiring journey that save animals lives and provides loving companion to families who want the joy of not only saving a life, but a loving pet to share their life with.
The Sanctuary at Hollister
S.A.F.E. believes every dog deserves compassion and care regardless of their adoptability status. The Sanctuary at Hollister is a safe, loving place where old and non-adoptable dogs can live out their lives in comfort. Each dog has a place to call home, to feel loved, a place to lay their heads down and feel wanted. Our Sanctuary dogs and volunteers love visitors!
Resale Store
SAFE has a resale store with a great selection of furniture, clothing, artwork, jewelry and household items. Our resale store is run entirely by volunteers, therefore more of our monetary donations go directly to the care of our pets!
