S.A.F.E. PET RESCUE

S.A.F.E. would like the Hollister location to be a sanctuary where old or non-adoptable ​dogs can live out their lives in comfort. A “non-adoptable” dog typically refers to a dog ​that is either not available for adoption or is unlikely to be adopted due to health issues, ​behavioral problems, or legal restrictions. S.A.F.E. believes every dog deserves ​compassion and care regardless of their adoptability status. Over the years, Hollister has undergone major changes, to make the sanctuary a happy and loving place. We are very proud of what Hollister has become. However, it comes with a hefty cost. It ​costs about $1,500 to house one dog for one year. This site exists to spread the word ​about our mission and to let you meet some of the sanctuary residents! These dogs, and ​all of S.A.F.E.’s rescued animals, are alive and well cared for as a result of the generosity ​of S.A.F.E.’s supporters. The dogs in Hollister have S.A.F.E. as their forever home, and our ​staff and volunteers as their family. We hope you are able donate to help us care for our ​sanctuary and the dogs there.
